Neighborhood organizing in Boston

The Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative developed 60 acres of land in a poor Boston neighborhood where they built affordable homes, parks and gardens, a community center, charter school and greenhouse.[i] The latter is run by a youth development project called the Food Project.
