Sacramento River Wildlife

Henry Lomeli led us down the Sacramento River in the Blue Moon last night. I recommend his eco-tour (http://sacramentoriverecotours.com/). We saw a beaver family swimming and slapping with 5 kits, a bald eagle, a red-tailed hawk and its rabbit dinner, an otter, lots of blue heron, egrets, and cormorants including their rookery. We stopped on an island and admired a beautiful yellow sun burst flower bush and did a Blue Moon ritual of releasing the old in a stone and burying it, finding a stone to charge with new goals to keep. Do the same before noon today to take advantage of the full moon energy.
