EPA Approved toxic herbicide for GMO crops

The Environmental Protection Agency has approved a highly toxic herbicide cocktail for widespread use on genetically engineered corn and soybean crops. It’s a pesticide that is simply too dangerous for humans and animals!

Enlist Duo is a highly toxic herbicide that blends glyphosate, a probable carcinogen, with 2,4-D, a poison used during the Vietnam War as an active ingredient in Agent Orange.

We’re challenging the EPA’s reckless decision in federal court…but we need your urgent help today to win!

More than 1 billion pounds of pesticides are being dumped onto U.S. crops every year—threatening your family’s health, drifting into the air, seeping into waterways, endangering farmworkers and threatening the survival of endangered species.

Studies have linked 2,4-D to serious illnesses like Parkinson’s disease, lymphoma and reproductive problems…and still, just this spring, the EPA approved the pesticide’s use in nine more states—including your state, Dolores, of Louisiana.

Earthjustice is fighting back, but we need your help right now to take on powerful corporate interests.
