Revolution popular in US presidential race

In 2016 Sanders said, “The political revolution has begun. I look forward to a contest this fall between democracy and demagoguery, between ordinary Americans and the oligarchs.” A co-founder of Hands Up United in St. Louis, hip-hop artist T-Dubb-O agrees, “It’s going to take full-fledged revolution to make a change. . . It’s really going to take people to unite worldwide, internationally, and say enough is enough.” Revolution became a popular theme: ultra-conservative Sarah Palin told a rally for Donald Trump in Florida, “The status quo has to go, right? We have needed a revolution, and we found our revolutionary. Donald J. Trump is that revolutionary.”
