I started the petition “Contact your government representatives: Stop Turks from Bombing Kurdish Soldiers, the Best against ISIS” and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.
Kurdish soldiers are the most effective fighters against ISIS. Yet Turkey’s President Erdogan sent in over 400 airstrikes on the PKK base in northern Iraq. They killed over 700 soldiers in July and August 2015, assisting ISIS. Erdogan doesn’t want Kurds to have their own territory and he’s angry because their politcal party success kept him from controlling parliament. PKK provides info to US bombers who attack ISIS. They should be protected, not attacked for Erdogan’s political power plays.
